We keep a student's information for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide our services. We assist schools in meeting their FERPA requirements. Schools using our products are provided with information on how students can retain their work if the accounts are closed or the school no longer utilizes the service.
Users (parents, teachers, and students) may request access to the information collected by Santillana at any time. You may also request that we delete this information by contacting us at wiccohelpcenter@santillana.com. We will respond and take action within a reasonable timeframe.

If a data breach occurs, an incident management protocol is implemented. Santillana will communicate by mail within a maximum of 72 hours from the time that the incident is detected. This communication will detail the unauthorized disclosure, the situation, and information that may be affected. As part of Santillana's communication protocol, Santillana will post a notification on its corporate web page indicating a situation has occurred. Steps will be taken and documented to prevent further unauthorized disclosure.
We are not in the business of selling schools’ or students’ Personally Identifiable Information and we will share it with others only as described in this Privacy Policy. Parents have the right to consent to the use of their child's Personal Information without having to consent to the disclosure of that information to third parties. Santillana collects personal information from users in order to allow them access to digital content that is part of Santillana's digital educational products.
